A trademark is a name used for goods. Okay. Like Jello. This service mark is a name used for services like Jims plumbing. In the United States. You actually get rights to the mark like this when you actually use that name, right? But to be protected by the government, you must use your name in interstate commerce, meaning commerce between two states.

Right. You’re putting your music out, among other things, on the Internet is the easiest way to do that. Right. But it used to be different and more than one. I mean, because really, if you send an email, blast all your fans in more than one state and they know your name, right, and it counts like that.
